A dedicated lifelong learner, Josh earned his bachelor's degree from Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA, and his law degree from Valparaiso University. After his military service, he pursued advanced education, obtaining an LLM in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Southern California’s Gould Law School, as well as a master’s in education from Alliant International University.

Josh is an accomplished attorney specializing in criminal and administrative law. Prior to joining the U.S. Army JAG Corps, he served in the Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office. During his active duty, Josh showcased his legal expertise in challenging environments, including Afghanistan, Iraq, Qatar, Germany, and various locations across the United States. Unfortunately, he was medically separated from the Army due to a series of surgeries.

As a former state prosecutor and federal attorney with the U.S. Army JAG, Josh now vigorously represents private citizens in their appeals against convictions. His extensive government experience provides him with unique insights into state appeal processes.
